Federal Reserve Board Chairman Ben Bernanke delivers his fourth, and final, lecture on the central bank with a discussion of the aftermath of the financial crisis. The ninety-minute talk with students at George Washington University will focus on monetary policy responses to the recession. Given that the subject matter touches on the Fed’s current policy stance, markets may pay a bit more attention to the lecture. So far they’ve basically been nodding off in the back of the room.
